How to do stance to five position are stances that are called “jyoudan” “cyuudan” “gedan” “right side” “left side” stance. “jyoudan” and “cyuudan” and “gedan” stance are basic stance. left side and right side stance are applied stance. “Cyuudan” is true meaning of stance.

To understand blade muscle is that you can swing your sword freely only by two fingers all the time. To swing long sword quickly is against the way of long sword and hard to swing.
You should swing long sword by silent mind as if you can swing easily. It is the way of long sword that if you swing down long sword, then you swing up long sword to where you are easy to swing up and if you swing long sword to sideway, you put long sword back to original position and extend your elbow largely and swing long sword strongly.

You should have mind to cut opponent to do stance to any directions according to the way that opponent set up and places and conditions. There is stance on the other hand there is no stance and you should do stance freely. You should have mind that if you take your long sword, you must cut opponent in any means. If you receive or knock or hit or stick or touch the long sword which opponent set up cut, you should know their chances to cut opponent. If you are conscious of receive or knock or hit or stick or touch opponent’s sword too much, you become not to be able to cut opponent with your all strength.

The time to strike opponent is that you should strike him in one time and It is a time that you strike opponent very quickly and straight unless you move and settle your mind in the distance that your long sword almost touch opponent and before opponent prepare himself for receive. You should strike opponent in that time before opponent have mind to draw or remove or hit his sword and it is to strike in one time.
